This review comes so late because i feared getting bashed up by people for having watched this movie. Actually no matter how much you hate this review, it would be my earnest request to all not to even view the movie leave alone re-viewing it.
As a victim of this 2 and a half hour torture, my first raection was," saale director ko kahaani nahi soojhi to na sahi, kam se kam naam to sochne ki mehnat karta!"
Ta Ra Rum Pum ( may be derived from Tadi aur Rum Piye Hum) is a riches to rags to rich again story. Isme action hai, drama hai, tragedy hai, bas kahaani nahi hai.
The film shows Saif Ali Khan as Schumacher ka baap (not literally) who can drive Aveo (mind it only Aveo, as he never drives any other car in the movie) at 100mph. Oye kakke, zara phoren me mast sadak par videshi gaddi to koi bhi dauda le, zara aamchi mumbai me premier padmini chala ke bata to mane! So he somehow meets Javed 'overacting' Jaffery who is god knows what in a racing team and is ekkdumm immprressed by Saif's kammal ka drriving! And so our phodu Saif gets a chance to race and goes on to become the Rossi of Car Racing. Is beech me heeroeene ke sath khoob dhichak-dhichak hai. But the next moment ek kutta kameena driver (zaroor pee kar gadi chala raha hoga) Saif ki baja dalta hai and our poor heero is not able to race for a month. aur phir uske jeevan me garibi ka andhakar chha gaya jisme uske umra se jyada paripakwa bacche apna bachpan kho baithe! Aagey ki kahaani amnesia ka mareez bhi guess kar le. Bas ek baat jo samajh me nahi aayee wo ye thi ki saala itna phodu driver ekdum somalia jaisa gareeb kaise ho gaya? Aur itne sare saare paise usne lutaye kahaan? Samaan aur ghar to saara loan aur installments par hi tha! Anyways ye wo jaane aur uska accountant, apne ko kya!
Film me saare gareeb log achhe hain aur ameer log bure except javed jaffery jo ki ek gareeb amir aadmi hai. Ek character hai Bharat Dabholkar 'the taklu' ka jo behad wahiyat sa hai aur ek so called bhillen bhi hai pitchure me jo shayad goonga hai kyonki wo kuchh nahi bolta sirf jhooth mooth ka muskurata hai.
To bachcho is prakar ye film aapko na hasati hai na rulati hai. Bas Gussa dilati hai.

hehe!! uttam review prastut kiye ho baalak!! jyada mach mach karne ke bajaaye..nishaane pe goli maari hai..prasiddhh sanskrit movie "Tera rum piyum" ke hindi remake ke sath nyaay nahee kiya gaya..maine picture nahee dekhi..lekin iss uttam review ki badaulat..aage bhi tera rum peene kii icchha nahee hai..apna hi tharrra piyunga!! [:P]
